Crafting Immersive Sound for Brar's Family-Centric Commercials​

Working on the Brar's food commercial was a deeply rewarding experience. The campaign featured three cuts—120 seconds, 60 seconds, and 30 seconds—each tailored for specific platforms. The 120-second Showtime commercial, mixed in 5.1, runs during the main feature with the lights off, delivering a cinematic audio experience. Additionally, a pre-show version mixed in stereo plays while the lights are still on, as audiences find their seats in Cineplex Theatres across Canada. The 60-second cut, mixed in 5.1 and stereo, was created for broadcast, while the 30-second cut, mixed in stereo, focused on social media platforms.

This family-centered, emotional piece required a sound design that embraced warmth, intimacy, and connection. By carefully balancing dialogue, music, and ambient textures, I created an audio environment that enhanced the narrative and resonated deeply with viewers across all formats.

Deliverables:
