Emotional Signature Sound Design for the Animated Series Klimagefühle

Klimagefühle is a five-part animated series that explores the topic of climate change through the lens of five core emotions: Hope, Anger, Guilt, Fear, and Grief. Aimed at a young audience, the series playfully guides children through emotional responses to the climate crisis while encouraging positive action and emotional resilience.

Central to my work on this project was the development of unique signature sound designs for each of the five emotional characters. These tailored sound identities not only supported the storytelling but created a consistent, recognizable audio experience that deepened the emotional journey across episodes.

By combining realistic sound design with imaginative audio cues, I helped shape a sonic world that is both engaging and emotionally resonant—bringing the characters and their feelings to life in a way that’s accessible and memorable for children.
