Working on "Das Lernen der Eigenständigkeit," a documentary about the Montessori school system, was a rewarding experience. The film showcases students learning independence through hands-on activities like gathering food, cooking, cleaning, and building projects. Set amidst beautiful natural landscapes teeming with wildlife, it was essential for me to create a natural and homely sound environment. By integrating organic sound editing and rich sound design, I supported the documentary's goal of convincingly presenting the school's approach, enhancing each scene with comfort and authenticity.
